Nono Nyathi

Nono Nyathi is a compassionate and dedicated tax professional, bringing more than eight years of invaluable experience in professional services. Her expertise spans diverse sectors such as Financial Services (Banking and Insurance), Medical Services (Private Practice), Manufacturing, Energy, Mining, and Tourism. With a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting for Chartered Accountants and an affiliation with the Zimbabwe Institute of Tax Accountants, Nono’s commitment shines through her completed two-year tenure on the Institute’s Technical Committee. Currently, she chairs the Institute’s Education Committee.

Nono’s passion for continuous growth led her to complete the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders at the prestigious Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. There, she honed her skills in Leadership in Business and Entrepreneurship, eager to empower start-ups and small businesses. By optimizing their tax processes, Nono assists these ventures in aligning their fiscal strategies with their broader business goals.

Beyond her professional achievements, Nono embraces her role as a part-time lecturer for corporate income tax and strategic management at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe (ICAZ) and the Zimbabwe Institute of Tax Accountants (ZITA). Her dedication to giving back to the community is evident through her guest lectures on tax courses for the MBA Entrepreneurship track at the University of Zimbabwe and her involvement in tax workshops for the Business Accelerator Program at Ernst & Young.
