It is said that roughly 70 per cent of the African continent are young people aged 30 and below. That is a staggering figure when you consider that the population of Africa is almost 1.4 billion people. That would be that around 980 million people in Africa are young people aged 30 or below. I am positive this entrepreneur profile has been so inspirational. Shacky Timburwa at such a young age has managed to create and continues to create employment across many African nations. He is also working on an audacious vision where he wants to see every African household using smart or clean energy. He derives some of his motivation from his role model, Strive Masiyiwa who set out to connect the whole African continent to optical fibre. He is well on course to complete that vision and as such Shacky Timburwa seeks to do the same with clean energy. This is a story of how no matter how young you are you can still make a national, regional and global impact.
