Megafest Holdings, a Zimbabwean Business Strategy Communication company was incorporated in 2008. Megafest Holdings is behind the popular Megafest Business Awards. Honourable Deputy Minister Raj Modi

He is the Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce. He is also the Member of Parliament (MP) for Bulawayo South. He is an accomplished business person and philanthropist as well. He is a recipient of various awards in those regards. Some of his business operations include beverages, groceries, and manufacturing, amongst others.

Susan Makore

She is an expert in the fields of career and media management. Gender balance in the media is also another one of her areas of expertise. She is a distinguished coach in all the aforementioned areas. From 2013 to 2020 she was AB Communications’ Group CEO. She is also a Commissioner for the Zimbabwe Media Commission. She has been with the World Association of Newspapers’ Women In News Project for about 5 or so years. Her role there has been media training and coaching in Zimbabwe. She pursued her tertiary studies with the University of Zimbabwe (UZ) and the University of Kwazulu Natal. She is a Trustee at Proweb, Advisory Member at Women in Media Graca Machel Trust. She is also Women in News Advisory Senior Manager for Africa at World Association of News Publishers WAN-IFRA.

Mercy Matsika

She is Co-Founder and Managing Director of Megafest Holdings. She is the Editor In Chief of the Megafest Business Magazine. Her areas of expertise are in Business Management and Accounting. She is presently pursuing studies in Counselling.

Chipo Mtasa

She is currently the Managing Director at TelOne (Private) Limited. She is a chartered accountant, having attained her undergraduate Accounting degree at the University of Zimbabwe (UZ). She also studied Executive Management Development at Wharton Business School. She was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Philosophy in Business Management by Women’s University in Africa.

Tanaka Muganyi

He is the Senior Partner at Tanaka Law Chambers. His area of expertise is Constitutional Law and Human Rights. He is also into civil and criminal litigation. His core area of focus is human rights violations in Zimbabwe, minority groups, media rights, and corporate law. He attained his law degree from the University of Zimbabwe (UZ). He did his Masters in Constitutional Law and Human Rights at Midlands State University (MSU). He is currently a PhD candidate. He is a board member at the Law Society of Zimbabwe. He also sits on the Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights board. He is the board chairperson of the Trans Research and Advocacy board. He is also a Commissioner for the Zimbabwe Media Commission.

Ivan Craig

He is presently the Director for Agriseeds (Pvt) Ltd – mainly overseeing Extension, Sales, and Marketing. He has been active in Extension Services provision for over 32 years in Zimbabwe (no wonder he is nicknamed Shona Mudhumeni Mukuru). He is the board chairperson at ARDA. He is the board chairperson at Zimbabwe Agricultural Society (ZAS). He is the Vice-chairperson for Zimbabwe Forum for Agricultural Advisory Services (ZFAAS). He is also a council member at Marondera University of Agricultural Science and Technology.

Zak Hawa

He is a law graduate from Rhodes University. Afterwards, he joined the family business, Fazak Gift Centre. Later Fazak Home and Hyper came along. In 1997 he went on to open Zak’s Place, a city hotel. He is the Vice President of the Confederation of Zimbabwe Retailers. He is the chairman of the Bulawayo Publicity Association. He is the chairman of Beautiful Bulawayo Trust.
