Mobile money has been a game changer in Zimbabwe over the years. Ever since’s coming of EcoCash, on September 29th 2011, mobile money has become a thing in Zimbabwe. Several players have entered the mobile money space since then. It is also interesting to note that mobile money services have also expanded. It is no longer just about mobile money transfers alone. The wide range of services that can now be offered is something incoming players are tapping into. That is the case with the most recent entrant, Old Mutual, with its O’mari mobile money service.
