It is unthinkable to talk of advertising in Zimbabwe and not include Gary Thompson. He founded the organization Gary Thompson and Associates, and with a devoted team under his belt, they made a slogan “We bring Vision”. Gary Thompson and Associates offers marketing & advertising services, public relations and digital media services. Gary Thompson also participated in Season 1 of the TV Show Simba Savannah , the Zimbabwe’s version of Dragon’s Den, as one of the “Simbas” who provided funding to the entrepreneurs who were pitching.
Gary Thompson wanted to pursue a career in Golf after completing his A-Level from Marlborough High school. His Golf talent was key in his acquiring a scholarship in America where he attained a degree in business before coming back to Zimbabwe to start a business in broadcasting media. Though Gary is committed to his organization, he always finds time for golf and is the president of the Zimbabwe Golfer’s Association. Gary fast became a popular TV personality which saw him initiating an online advertising company which steadily generated momentum and grew over a period of time. Gary says that

Gary Thompson and Associates utilizes public relations and digital tools in their business and has worked with companies such as Netone, Zol, Pioneer Coaches, Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe, Astro, Africa Union and Save valley among many others. Gary Thompson and Associate was named as the 2014 Zimbabwe Trusted Choice Agency of the Year.
